Gas leak at Hooper, Tunbridge Wells, Saturday afternoon

Matfield were brought in as a relief crew for a gas leak incident at Hoopers in Tunbridge Wells on Saturday afternoon. A crew of four mobilised at around 3.30pm and stayed at the incident for around three hours. Two appliances were at the incident at all times.

Car Alight, East Peckham

Second call of Thursday evening was to a car alight in East Peckham at around 21.30hrs - I was on reserve crew so did not ride on this one.

Chimney Fire, Colts Hill

We were on station at about 19.30hrs on Thursday evening when the alarm went off for a chimney fire in Colts Hill. Minimal damage was caused to the flue as the fire was contained very quickly and we returned to base shortly afterwards
